Hi, I’m Ellie (she/they). I’m a designer and illustrator from the UK.

I’ve always loved to draw. When I was younger I loved watching and making animated film or fake gaming guides for ideas inspired by endless hours on my SNES. I knew going into higher education I wanted to do something creative. After studying and graduating in Graphic Design & Video Games Design at University, I ended up in Large Format Print design for 5+ years.

In that time I worked on movie & TV backdrops (Star Wars, James Bond, The Danish Girl, Game of Thrones etc.), retail/window displays (M&S, BHF, Matalan etc.), football stadiums (Manchester City, Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers etc.), exhibition stands, lorry wraps and much more.

While I was designing for a lot of big corporates, I was all freelancing as a graphic designer. I started with business cards and moved onto poster design for theatres and exhibitions. This was mainly for smaller businesses or small productions.

Sadly I was made redundant just before the pandemic, which was a blessing as my dad was diagnosed with leukaemia. Watching my friends streaming while isolating was a much needed distraction. I didn’t realise how much design went into streaming, so I started learning how to design assets for streaming.
